83 year old Ram Pyari Mataji lost her husband 21 years back. She had 6 daughters & 3 sons but she lost 2 daughters & 2 sons in their early childhood days because of poor health. She stays in her house in Mangolpuri (New Delhi) but is ill-treated by her daughter-in-law & lives in one corner of the house She has to do all her household chores including cooking & washing. She used to see corn of groundnuts on roadside near her house to earn her living but she is almost bed-ridden now. |

79 year old Harpyari Mataji is a resident of Shakurpur JJ Colony in North Delhi. She had 5 Sons & 4 daughters but she lost all of them except one daughter who is married & has given her JJ Colony house to live in. Mataji lost her husband 6 years ago & is living on her own. |

| ANGOORI DEVI MATAJI |

She had 3 daughters & 2 sons. She lost 2 daughters at a very early age & one daughter died 3 years back leaving behind her 2 children. One of her son is staying separately with his family in other colony. She lost other son a year back & her widowed daughter-in-law works as maid in houses & takes care of her children but ill-treats Mataji. Mataji had taken debt for her son’s treatment & to run her house during his illness but she is unable to pay her debt & her daughter-in-law does not cooperate either. She had undergone cataract surgery but unfortunately she is not able to see from her one eye now & has become more dependent on neighbors. |

She had 7 daughters & 2 sons. She lost both her sons & her husband. She had to sell her own house to get her 7 daughters married. She is living with one of her daughters but is being ill-treated even by her own daughter & son-in-law because she is totally dependent on then. She is bed-ridden now. |

Resident of Sector 24, Rohini, he has 2 married daughters & 2 sons. One son stays on the 1st floor of the house with his family but does not even talk to then. The other son went to Dubai a few years back but whenever he comes back every 2 years he prefers to be on his own & does not even meet his parents. Ganguramji spent all his savings in getting his 2 daughters married but now because of old age & various health problems he is not able to work. He is now taking care of his bed-ridden wife & has himself lost his hearing power & slowly & gradually losing his sight also. |
